Itinerary description day by day :
Day 1: Marrakech
Upon arrival at the Marrakesh airport, you will find our driver, who will take you to your Riad or hotel.
Day 2 : Marrakech Exploration
After breakfast in the riad, you will enjoy a morning guided tour of Marrakech, “the Red City of Morocco.” Your guide will ensure you see all the historical and cultural interest sites, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School.
Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys, admiring all the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square.
Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then visit the gardens at Majorelle in the afternoon, and have a short tour of Gueliz -the new city of Marrakech. After the visit, you can walk through the square and be entertained by magicians, storytellers, tooth-pullers, and food sellers.
Day 3: Marrakech – Beni Mellal – Fes (480 km)
We leave Marrakech and drive towards Fez through Ben Mellal, between the Middle Atlas Mountains, the vast plain of Tadla, and beautiful landscapes. We will take a break for lunch.
Afterwards, we continue in the direction of Fes. We pass Ifrane, the well-known ski resort in the Middle Atlas. We stayed the night in the Riad on half board.
Day 4: Fes Exploration
After breakfast in your riad, you will explore Fes, the “Spiritual City of Morocco.”
You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys, visiting most of the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Medrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain.
After lunch, we will drive you outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, walk through the Jewish quarter, “the Mellah,” and then visit the pottery cooperative.
In the afternoon, we will drive you to one of the fortresses to experience a fantastic panoramic view of Medina of Fes.
Overnight accommodation in a Riad in Medina.
Day 5: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes (100 km)
After breakfast, we leave Fes to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis (a Unesco World Heritage Site), Morocco’s most important Roman ruins. Afterward, I pay a visit to Mouly Idriss, one of the holiest towns in the country. We continue for Meknes, the 4th imperial city of Morocco. In the afternoon, visit the important monuments of the town: Bab El Mansour, Lahdim Square, and Mouly Ismaïl Museum. Then we drive along to Meknes to get to your accommodation.
Day 6: Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca (246 km)
After breakfast, we leave for Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. We visit the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Museum, and the Royal Palace…. We drive on to Casablanca, the economic capital and the great metropolis of Morocco. In Casablanca, we visit the Mosque Hassan II, the city’s most important monument. We have dinner and stay overnight in Casablanca.
Day 7: Casablanca – Marrakesh (243 km)
You travel back to Marrakesh where you can enjoy, for half a day, the pleasures of the city: shopping, a trip to the Souk where you can find everything like jewelry, herbs, tapestry, lamps, textiles, and so on. You stay the night in a Riad. Dinner is served in a traditional restaurant in Medina, where you have a great view of the Jemaa-El-Fina Square.
Day 8: Marrakesh
Transfer to the airport of Marrakesh, depending on the take-off of your flight.
