Itinerary description day by day :
Day 1: Transfer from Fez airport
You arrive at Fez airport, where your private driver/guide will meet you and drive you to your riad in the heart of Medina.
Day 2: Fes Exploration
After breakfast in your riad, you will explore Fes, the “Spiritual City of Morocco.” You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys, visiting most of the sites with cultural and historical interest – including the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Medrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, we will drive you outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, walk through the Jewish quarter, “the Mellah,” and then visit the pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we will drive you to one of the fortresses to experience a fantastic panoramic view of Medina of Fes. Overnight in Riad in Medina.
Day 3: Fez – Volubilis – Chefchaouen (about 3.5 hours)
After breakfast in your riad, you will start traveling to Chefchaouen via Ouazzan and the Roman site of Volubilis. The first stop on our way is the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman empire dating to 225 BC, where you will see the most beautiful Mosaics in Morocco dating back to the 3rd century BC. Here, you will have a guided tour of the site and learn much about the Roman Empire. After that, we travel north to reach Chefchaouen through the Rif mountains. In the afternoon, we will get to Chefchaouen Medina, a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes, where you will spend your night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature. Overnight in Riad in Medina.
Day 4 : Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca
Weing, we will head toward the early mornings in Rabat, passing by Ouazzane and Souk Larbaa. We will continue to the Capital of Morocco. Rabat is a perfect combination of ancient and modern city, one of the most dynamic cities and commercial centers of Morocco, where you can see one of the most famous monuments in the country, “The Tower of Hassan,” located at the top of one of the city’s hills. There are extraordinary views from the river, and at night, it is illuminated, giving a lovely touch. The medina of Rabat is, without a doubt, another of the places to get lost in, you can stroll with ease through its streets full of shops, where there is a mix of smells and products of all kinds, crafts, species, food, animals, carpets, etc. Eventually, before arriving in Casablanca late at night. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 5 : Casablanca – Marrakech
After breakfast, we drive to Marrakech, “the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure you see all the historical and cultural interest sites, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -admire the artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. You will have a short tour of Gueliz -the new city of Marrakech. After the visit, you can walk through the square and be entertained by magicians, storytellers, tooth-pullers, and food sellers.
Day 6: Marrakesh Transfer/Tour ends
You take breakfast and then get a transfer to the Marrakesh airport.
