Tour Itinerary of 6 days from Tangier

Below is the tour plan for the 6 days from Tangier to Marrakech:

Day 1: Tangier » Chefchaouen » Fes [309 Km]

On the first day of this adventure, we will meet you at the port of Tangier. We will then cross the Rif Mountains and Tetouan city, enjoying the magnificent views of the mountains until we reach Chefchaouen, a beautiful village at the foot of the Rif Mountains.

Chefchaouen’s Medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts shops on the roof, restaurants, and cafes. Here, you can have lunch before we continue our way to Fes, where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeing tour with a local guide

After breakfast, the day is dedicated to exploring Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities, and the Medinas, founded by Idriss II, a center of Arab-Muslim culture: the Mosque of the Andalusians, tanneries, district potters, and the Medina.

We have lunch in a palace in the Medina. In the afternoon, we continue to visit the Hispano-Moorish buildings and the Medersas Nejjarine.

Day 3: Fes » Ifrane » Azrou forest » Merzouga Desert [467 km]

After breakfast, we drive south to Ifran and Azrou through the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way, we stop at the cedar forests to see the monkeys in their natural habitat.

Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt and passing along the beautiful Ziz gorges carved into the volcanic rock, you will see views of the plateau of the Middle Atlas and the changing landscape to reveal notes of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. After lunch, we continue our journey through the valley of Ziz in Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga.

After a glass of mint tea, we leave our luggage in a hotel and take a camel trek to a Berber camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in North Africa. The camel trek takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to the camp, where we stay the night in Berber tents in the desert.

The tents are equipped with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. After dinner, we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber songs and drums under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga » Todra Gorges » Dades Gorges [255 km]

We will wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the dunes and ride on a camel at the hotel.

After showering and breakfasting, we leave for Tinghir and Todra Gorges and finally arrive in the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Dades Gorges » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech [325 km]

After breakfast, we drive through the Dades Valley to Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs offers plenty of photo opportunities.

We will visit the Valley of Roses and the village of Skoura, then continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa.” Lunch is at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco.

After visiting this UNESCO site, our journey continues through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. We stop to enjoy the stunning views. We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing tour with a local guide

Today we explore Marrakech, “the Red City of Morocco.” Our city guide will ensure you see all the sites with historical values and cultural interest, including Minaret Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace, and the Ben Youssef Koranic school.

Through the streets – get a chance to see all the different craftsmen of the medina performing their jobs before arriving at the famous Djamaa El Fna. Lunch in a restaurant near the place, and then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle gardens, and a small tower in Gueliz – the new town of Marrakech.

After dinner, you will have the opportunity to walk through the place, entertained by magicians, storytellers, their teeth, and food vendors. By then our tour of 6 days comes to an end.
