Our desert tour via Merzouga starts with a hotel pick-up. Then, we head straight towards Chefcha, ‘the blue pearl of the north, or the blue city, as people call it.

We’re sure you’ll be struck by the extravagant beauty and charm of its narrow streets adorned with green plants and red roses. We will also take a long walk beside the dignifying running river of this beautiful town, and drink mint tea in the grand square called “Plaza Uta el Hamam”. After lunch, we will head towards Fes to rest and prepare for the route to the Sahara.

Day 2: Fes » Ifrane » Merzouga Desert [467 km]

Today, after a fully healthy breakfast, we will head towards our favorite destination, the Merzouga Sahara desert, via the High and Middle Atlas mountains, which offer such an alluring view of nature.

Then, we visit the city of Ifrane, commonly known as “Morocco’s Little Switzerland.” We will drive through Azrou, cross the Ziz Valley, visit Midelt, and then visit fossils in Erfoud.

We transfer you to Merzouga, where we endure the Sahara desert in a popular camel ride. We will spend the night in a desert camp under shining stars after having dinner and attending to some Berber music.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [255 km]

Our Tangier trip continues and we sit on top of a dune to witness a breathtaking sunrise in Merzouga.

Then we commence a camel ride to Merzouga village, from where we will drive towards Rissani. We will explore Tafilalet, where the Alaouite dynasty of Morocco is originally from. We will travel to the Todgha Gorge and also visit the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a riad with dinner.
