Your 14 Days Classic Morocco Tours begins in Casablanca, Morocco, and promises an unforgettable journey. You’ll have the chance to see world-famous sites, including beautiful mosques, historic Koranic schools called Madrassas, and other important landmarks. Enjoy Morocco’s delicious traditional dishes throughout your trip. This custom trip is specifically designed to explore Morocco’s diverse and stunning landscapes. Starting from the vast desert, which includes an extraordinary night in a Berber camp, you will then proceed to the Blue City of Chefchaouen. The trip also covers the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, before finally relaxing in the coastal town of Casablanca.

Itinerary description day by day

Day 1: Airport – Casablanca – Rabat (about 2.5 hours)

When you land at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, your private driver-guide will greet you and take you into the city. From there, you’ll head north to Rabat.
Your 14 Days Classic Morocco Tours of Casablanca starts with a visit to the famous Hassan II Mosque. This stunning building, perched above the Atlantic Ocean, is one of Morocco’s most impressive religious sites.
Next, you’ll travel to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. You’ll visit the historic Hassan Tower and stroll through the charming lanes of the Oudaya Kasbah. In the evening, you can unwind in a traditional riad in the heart of the Medina.
 

Day 2: Rabat – Assilah – Tangier  (about 5–7 hours w/ stops)

After breakfast at your riad, we will head to Tangier, taking a scenic coastal route through Asilah.
Our first stop is Asilah, where you can take some time to explore the city.
Asilah is famous for its annual art festival. Artists from around the world come to paint the walls of the Medina.
During your visit, you’ll see the Skalla fortress, which offers great views of the Medina and the ocean.
After lunch in Asilah, we’ll continue on to Tangier so you can experience the city.

Day3 : Tangier – Tetoun – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we’ll travel through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. Our destination is Chefchaouen, a charming village at the base of the Rif Mountains. In Chefchaouen’s Medina, you’ll find a Spanish-style square with unique arts and crafts shops, rooftop restaurants, and cozy cafés. You’ll spend the night here, enjoying the fresh air and natural beauty.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (about 3.5 hours)

After breakfast at your riad, you will begin your journey to Fes, passing through Ouazzan and stopping at the Roman site of Volubilis. After a few hours on the road, you will arrive at Volubilis, a well-preserved Roman city from 225 BC. Here, you can admire some of the most beautiful mosaics in Morocco, dating back to the 3rd century BC.
You will have a guided tour of the site and learn a lot about the Roman Empire. Afterward, we will travel to Meknes, the capital of the Ismaili dynasty in Morocco.
In Meknes, we will visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate, built by Sultan Moulay Ismail, as well as the granary and Sahrij Souani, which were used for irrigation and agriculture.
Your visit will also include the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Afterward, we will continue on the highway to Fes.

Day 5: Fes Exploration

After breakfast at the Riad, you’ll head southeast toward Merzouga, passing through Midelt and Rachidia. The first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing on through Midelt and along the Wadi Ziz.
Along the way, you’ll catch views of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains.
You’ll visit the famous Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco, where you might see Barbary monkeys. As you get closer to Rachedia, watch how the scenery shifts and the desert begins to appear.
After lunch in Midelt, you’ll travel through the beautiful Ziz Valley and stop to take in the panoramic views.
We’ll pass through friendly Berber villages on the way to Erfoud and then Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, Morocco’s current royal family. When you arrive in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be offered a cup of mint tea before checking into the Riad.

Day 6; Fes – Ifrane – Errachidia – Merzouga (about 6.5 hours) 

After breakfast at your Riad, you will travel southeast toward Merzouga, passing through Midelt and Errachidia. Your first stop is Ifran, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” From there, you will continue to Merzouga, passing through Midelt and the Ziz Valley.
Along the way, you will see views of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains. You will also stop at the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you might spot Barbary Apes.
As you approach Er Rachidia, the landscape will begin to look more like the desert. After lunch in Midelt, you will travel through the lush Ziz Valley and stop to take in the panoramic views.
You will pass through welcoming Berber villages on the way to Erfoud, then to Rissani, known as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, Morocco’s current royal family.
When you arrive in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before checking into your Riad.

Day 7: Merzouga area – Camel trek & overnight in desert camp

After breakfast at the riad, you’ll start exploring the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, who were originally brought from Sudan as slaves, and learn about their music and way of life.
Marzouga Lake is nearby and is home to many birds.
You can also visit the souk in Rissani, a traditional town known as the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling family and a historic stop for trade caravans heading to Timbuktu, Mali. Here, you’ll notice many masked men and veiled women.
In the afternoon, you’ll set out on a guided camel ride with an experienced guide to explore the sand dunes of Merzouga.
You’ll spend the night at our luxury desert camp, where dinner will be served. For your comfort, the camp has flush toilets.
 

Day 8: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley- Skoura (about 5.5 hours)

Your camel guide will wake you early so you can watch what might be the most beautiful sunrise you have ever seen.
After that, you will trek back to the village of Merzouga. Along the way, you can enjoy the unique beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes, which shift in colour as the day goes on.
After breakfast at your Riad, you will head to the Dades Valley and visit the Todra Gorges, which are the highest and narrowest in Morocco.
After lunch in the valley, you can choose to take a one-hour hike through the fields. On this walk, you will visit an old mud village, meet local people, and learn about their culture.
You will continue through the Dades Valley, where you can see impressive sand castles and the rock formations called “monkey toes.” You will spend the night in Skoura.
 

Day 9: Skoura- Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech (about 5.5 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set out on a drive through the Dades Valley, heading toward Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate.
The drive through the Dades Valley follows the famous road of a thousand Kasbahs. Along the way, you will find plenty of chances to take some of your best photos of the trip.
We will stop in Kalaat Mgouna, known as “the rose city,” where you can buy rosewater to keep your linen smelling fresh long after your journey.
Next, we will continue to Marrakech, stopping at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This historic site was built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains in the 18th century, and served as a home for many Glaoui people.
Your journey will take you through the impressive Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which sits at 2260 meters above sea level in the High Atlas Mountains, before you arrive at your accommodation in Marrakech.
 

Day 10 : Marrakech Exploration 

After breakfast at the Riad, you will join a morning guided tour of Marrakech, known as the Red City of Morocco.
Your guide will show you the main historical and cultural sites, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, the Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School.
To finish the morning, walk through the medina alleys and watch artisans at work before reaching the famous Jamaa El Fna Square.
Have lunch at a restaurant near the square. In the afternoon, visit the Majorelle gardens and take a short tour of Gueliz, the new part of Marrakech.
After your visit, take some time to walk around the square, where you will find magicians, storytellers, and food vendors.
 

Day 11 : Free day in Marrakesh to do your own things

Day 12 : Marrakesh – Essaouira

After breakfast at the Riad in Marrakech, we will head to Essaouira, which European sailors and traders once called Mogador.
Essaouira is famous for its annual Gnaoua Music Festival, drawing over 300,000 visitors every June.
The city features a wide surfing beach, Plage de Safi, and a fishing harbour with stunning views of the old Portuguese ramparts.
We will explore the ramparts and visit the spice and jewelry markets in the Medina.

Day 13 : Essaouira – El Jadid – Casablanca

Today, we’ll drive along the coast to Casablanca. On the way back, we’ll stop in El Oualidia for lunch.
Along the way, we’ll visit the historical sites in El Jadida. We’ll reach Casablanca in time for dinner at the hotel, where you’ll spend your last night.

Day 14: Casablanca Transfer/Tour ends

Enjoy breakfast before taking your transfer to Casablanca Airport.
